Setup

  1. Choose a stable step height you can control.
  2. Place the whole working foot on the box.
  3. Stand close enough that you do not have to jump forward.

How To Perform It

  1. Drive through the working leg to step up.
  2. Finish tall without pushing excessively from the trailing foot.
  3. Lower under control to the floor.

Key ASF Cue

“Own the box with the working leg - do not launch off the floor.”

Common Mistakes

  • Box too high.
  • Pushing hard from the trailing leg.
  • Dropping quickly on the way down.
