Bodybuilding & Competition Prep Coaching

Train with a plan that reflects your physique, your schedule and your next goal.

Building a competitive physique takes more than adding exercises or changing calories at random. Coach Al Scott brings structured training, general nutrition guidance, progress reviews and practical accountability together in one coaching process. Work with him online wherever you train, with in-person training options discussed separately for clients in the Orlando area.

Coaching For The Phase You Are In

You may have a show date in mind, be building your physique before committing to a competition, or want a more focused bodybuilding plan. The starting point is an assessment of your training history, current routine, goals, available time and recovery. From there, your programme is built around what you can execute consistently and refined as your progress gives us new information.

This is for men and women who are ready to train with intent, complete their check-ins and communicate honestly about what is happening between sessions. You do not need to arrive with a perfect routine. You do need to take part in the process.

What Specialist Coaching Includes

  • Individualised training programme: Exercise selection, technique, progression and workload tailored to your experience, physique goals, equipment and schedule.
  • General nutrition guidance: A practical nutrition strategy aligned with the current phase and reviewed alongside your training and progress.
  • Twice-weekly structured progress check-ins: Consistent information to help identify trends, barriers and the adjustments that matter.
  • Technique feedback and progress monitoring: Review of training execution and logged performance through the Al Scott Fitness Client Hub.
  • Cardio and recovery programming: Training demands, cardio and recovery considered together as the plan evolves.
  • Ongoing adjustments: Changes made in response to your progress, readiness and circumstances rather than on an arbitrary rewrite schedule.
  • Online coaching conversation: One scheduled Google Meet check-in of up to 30 minutes each week for online specialist clients. For a hybrid client training frequently in person with Coach Al, those sessions replace the weekly Meet. In-person sessions are arranged separately.

How Coach Al Builds The Plan

01

Assess The Starting Point

We review your goal, current physique, training experience, schedule, recovery and any limitations relevant to exercise programming. If you are preparing for a competition, your intended date and current condition help frame the timeline. A consultation establishes the scope of coaching before you enrol.

02

Build And Execute

Your programme lives in the ASF Client Hub, where you can follow sessions and record your work. Coach Al looks for sound technique, repeatable training and progression earned through execution. Nutrition guidance, cardio and recovery support the phase you are in.

03

Check In And Adjust

Twice-weekly structured check-ins and training data give the plan direction. We consider your progress alongside fatigue, adherence and day-to-day readiness, then adjust what is needed. The aim is a clear next step, not constant change for its own sake.

A Method Built On Foundations

Coach Al is a competitive bodybuilder and certified coach. The ASF Method puts foundations before load, control before complexity and recovery inside the training plan. Its Traffic Light Framework helps match a session to your readiness so a difficult day becomes a coaching decision rather than a reason to abandon the programme.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a show date to apply?

No. We can discuss a physique-development phase before a competition date is set. If you already have a show in mind, include its date and your current training situation in the application.

Can you coach me if I am outside Orlando?

Yes. Specialist coaching is available online. In-person training is a separate option for clients in the Orlando area, subject to scheduling, permitted gym guest access and the right coaching fit.

How often do I check in?

Bodybuilding and competition prep coaching includes twice-weekly structured progress check-ins. Online specialist clients also have one scheduled Google Meet coaching check-in of up to 30 minutes each week. For frequent in-person hybrid clients, those sessions replace the weekly Meet.

Is this a fixed 12-week plan?

No. This is individual coaching that adapts to your starting point, progress and goal. ASF's self-directed 12-week systems are separate products and do not include personal coaching.

What happens after I apply?

Coach Al reviews your application and, if the coaching looks like a fit, invites you to a consultation. You can discuss your goal, timeline, available training days, support needs and the exact coaching option before committing.

Ready To Train With Purpose?

Tell Coach Al where you are now and what you are working toward. Your application is the first step toward a plan that fits the work ahead.
